We are now a "Community Hub" with the aim to (re)connect people with nature through the simple act of removing single-use pollution from wild places, in the farms case; that`s mainly tree guards.
April / May 2026; So, we have started to remove plastic tree / vole guards and there bamboo canes from all of our tree compounds where it is suitable to do so, as in the trees are roughly 3 years in the ground. The spiral plastic tubes have to be sent to the re-cycling centre, whereas we can re-use the canes and some of the other types of guards instead of buying more unsuitable tubes. We don`t find that the so called bio-degradable tubes are what they claim to be either!
5 bags of spiral fragile plastic guards taken to the re-cycling centre so far in 2026, that`s around 250 potentially fragile plastic tubes that don`t really break down and disappear.
