The hirer is responsible for the condition of the property and its entire contents during the hire period, fair wear and tear excepted. The hirer will make good any damage or loss and leave the property and contents in a clean and tidy condition. A fully refundable Good Housekeeping Deposit of £200 is required by bank transfer or cheque one month prior to arrival. This will be returned once a turnaround has been completed after your departure. Good Housekeeping Deposits will be returned by a bank transfer in the week after your stay where possible, if you supply me with your bank details.
Entry on day of arrival is from 4pm, unless pre-arranged otherwise. Please let us know what time your first group member will be arriving so that we may be there to show them around the facility.
On day of departure occupants are expected to vacate the premises by 12 noon, unless pre-arranged otherwise.
We operate a NO SMOKING policy within The Bunkhouse. We also do not allow the use of fireworks or Chinese lantern or the lighting of random fires. The only fires to be lit are to be in purpose-built fire pits hired from us.
We only take personal cheques, bank transfers or cash payments in £ sterling. Card payments are now taken when the booking invoice is sent to you, not over the phone.
The tariff includes all bedding, fitted sheets, duvets etc. Also cleaning cloths, sprays, loo rolls, tea towels etc, and of course, electric and water charges.
We allow dogs on site only if they are supervised at all times, as in someone with them and not them just running free. Also, as long as they are house trained and don’t chase or kill free range chickens or chase sheep / cattle. They can sleep in The Bunkhouse hallway or lounge area but NOT IN THE BEDROOMS OR ON THE SOFAS. There is now a £10 charge per dog per stay at present, but please let us know you are bringing a dog before arrival.
The perfect location for stag and hen parties / large family gatherings and of course biking and walking clubs, as we are positioned at 1000ft and south facing, on the same farm as Glassie Bike Park.
