Blue Biking trails at Glassie Farm.

Facilities onsite; We have a couple of car parks on our access track that bikers and walkers are fine to use for FREE in the day, the third car park is for people who have booked the accommodation that we have onsite.

Overnight stays in Car Parks; All we ask is that you ask us if you wish to stay on-sight overnight and we will charge you £5 for the night per vehicle, as we do run an accommodation business onsite and if you are a self-contained camper van that`s fine, but no tents erected or fires to be lit.

Recent trail changes and proposed changes:  We are looking to convert all trails on the farm to BLUES otherwise they will have to be removed as bike trails, due to insurance regulations.

1- The Blue Midge  Staying as it is for a while, a good short Blue, but will shortly be refined to make it more fun and environmentally sustainable.

2- (Blue) Purple Haze. As this trail is not a Blue on our land it will have to be modified to be a blue, but then it will continue from the wall as normal on to Forestry Land Scotland grounds. We are also looking at having the push up section improved to make it a suitable loop for riding back-up.

3-The (Blue) Dreamline. This will also have to be vastly modified to make a fantastic blue, it will hopefully also be extended down to where it joins the green graded track at the bottom of the slope. It is now therefore CLOSED until further notice.

4- Shredo / Blue View access There is now a wide farm vehicle access track at the top`s of where both these two trails were built. Shredo`s original trail can be joined 150 meters down it at the large beech tree in the woods and Blue View can be joined 100 meters down as you pass through the wall boundary. The sides of these farm vehicle tracks will both have additional small features built in to make them more fun for riding.

We have just recently spoken to Rik Allsop a professional trail builder about what is the best way forward to keep these fantastic trails alive as BLUES, we will decide there fate in February / March 2026. This is part of our community project for 2026 for increasing the use of the site by locals who wish to walk or ride bikes and picnic in a stunning location.
