Land use at The Bunkhouse- Glassie Farm; Perthshire Biking Centre

Its NEW website is; www.perthshirebikingcentre.co.uk

We are planning to develop the site a bit more towards mountain biking, but also incorporating all types of biking / cycling and more connected walking routes within the local area. We have approximatly 70 acres of land in total up here that can be used to help the local community and kids groups. We aim to get people out in to the countryside using bikes safely by hopefully establishing a club / association under the name of; Perthshire Biking Centre, the initial thoughts are to get this as a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO).

We are looking to build a cycle track for the younger kids / new bike riders firstly, this is intended to develop them in to confident bike riders who will then go on to be confident and more daring / skilled riders. While also incorporating seperate areas for; Non-technical Skills / Technical Skills / Pump Track / Skills area`s and Trails / Freeride Trails and maybe even a Cyclo-Cross track, as we have the space.

If your interested in helping in any way or have an idea we can all work on, as this is aimed at being a community project for all. Then drop me an e-mail and I will get back to you for a chat; use button at top right of page.

BLESMA - This is my chosen charitable organisation to raise funds for and to hopefully work with to help there members.

This was my first charity raising event: a charity ride in India back in 2011; over 450km in heat and with poor roads to compete with, but well worth it to raise funds for our injured ex-service men and women.

Charity Challenge organised ride through Rajasthan India; 3 pictures below; my fantastic group / the roads / the amazing guides.
