The Bunkhouse at Glassie Farm is the perfect place for gravel and mountain biking cyclists with plenty of great local cycling routes to explore. Use the site as a base for road cycling as well, as we have fairly quiet roads, even in summer high season.
Midge was the first BLUE trail to be specifically built in the area. This meant that new bikers could develop confidence on it and then go on to ride the rest of the BLUE trails that are also on the farm.

There are a great number of fantastic loops / circular routes mapped out locally and further afield.
If your a keen walker you could walk from here and make a day of it by having lunch in one of the many great cafes in Aberfeldy.
The Birks walk is quite steep in places so would not be ideal for the more infirm on chilly days, due to its tall steps and leafy surface.
This route is fine for both walkers and bikers as it follows the core path through our grounds into Forestry Land Scotland (FLS) land either way you do the trail from here. The east route you follow the access road back down then back up past the Ailean Chraggen Hotel / Restaurant. The west direction route is the same, but of course in the opposite direction.
We have cut wide paths through our nature restoration areas and rewilding meadows to give you great access to all of the farm.
There are seats in certain areas for you to use and just absorb the nature and quietness around you.
There is also a large fenced compound for letting your dog run freely and a bench for you to picnic at if you wish
