This is one of 3 leaky dams that we have now built on the farm with Mossy Earth funding and our local
experts from www.riverrevivers.co.uk
Maja and Duncan co-ordinated the work and did all the surveys required by SEPA to get the approval to
install the 3 dams, along with help from a fantastic group of local volunteers.
The work done hear is also the focus of a degree dissertation that will monitor the changes in sediment
flow and water levels / clarity, along with changes in flora / fauna.
There will be a 2nd Mossy Earth You Tube video coming out soon, the first one is on my regeneration
page of this website and has been viewed over 2 million times.
