Aberfeldy Group Accommodation; The Bunkhouse at Glassie Farm provides a fantastic large accommodation which is divided into two amazingly well equipped self-catering / holiday cottage units with stunning views overlooking Aberfeldy, this idyllic location is set within a 280 acre working farm with beef cattle and sheep.

This is the perfect location for those wanting a large secluded / private and well equipped accommodation that is ideal for club / group gatherings, stag and hen parties and of course weddings / reception site, or just a place to re-charge / chill-out and take in the amazing scenery with family and friends.

Groundworks started (24th April 2013), at The Bunkhouse; we now have some flat ground for marquees and tipis. While also improving car parking facilities.

Munroe Bagging / Hill Walking; Planning a celebration for bagging your last munroe or even your first, then why not invite 14 friends to fill the Newer Unit or 25 for the Original Unit and if your really popular upto 39 of your friends and family to celebrate it with the whole site?

We are situated close to Ben Lawers (1214m) / Schiehallion (1083m) / Beinn Ghlass (1103m) / Carn Mairg (1041m) to the west of us and to the north east are Carn Liath (975m) and Beinn a`Ghio (1121m), to name a few.

Local Walks; There are also plenty of local walks for all standards and abilities in the area, we are situated on the Core Path Glassie Circular walk route ourselves. There are at least 16 other local walks shown on the notice board for Aberfeldy / Pitlochry. 

Mountain Bikers; the perfect base for a start to a variety of casual biking or extreme madness routes. You could hire bikes through Splash (Aberfeldy) or Escape Route (Pitlochry), or even get dropped of on the top of a hill by Highland Safaris and take the hard work out of the trip, this is great for famalies.

We have two sets of Scottish Mountain Bike Trail cards that you can borrow, these have been developed by Highland Perthshire Cycling. These cover routes around local places such as; Castle Dow at Grandtully (Route 4), The Old Railway Riverside Path (Route 5). There are 16 routes to choose from.

Cyclists; We are also on Sustrans National Cycle Route 7 (Lochs & Glens), from which you can also join onto The Salmon Run to Dundee, which is Cycle Route 77.

Parties; We have had 21st's to 75th's so far. This is the perfect flexible facility that can work around all your requirements. Ideal venue for all birthdays / celebrations wanting a quiet private location and for those wanting to party all night and not worry about disturbing the neighbours, as ours are 1 mile away.

You want it, we will try to source it for you, just ask? We are here to make your celebration extremely memorable for you and your guests / friends.

Stag / Hen and Group Weekends; The perfect private party centre with a local area that caters especially for adventure packed weekends of activities, see Activity Providers for an amazing selection of full on activities for your whole group, best advised to book minibus taxi`s in advance for your travelling around, as its a good 40-45 mins walk to the town centre.

Whisky; We overlook Dewars down in Aberfeldy, while Pitlochry also has the Blair Athol Distillery that helps in the production of Bells as well as the smallest Scottish distillery of Edradour.

The Ailean Chraggan is our local hotel / bar / restaurant which has a great selection of malts, generally around 100 as a rule, if your unsure what to try, ask Tony the manager.
